There are so many different way to organize your coupons! You may need to try a couple different ways to find what works best for YOU! That’s what matters! Just because your Coupon Bestie uses a Binder DOESN’T mean that you have to use one as well! I have used different variations of each of these throughout my couponing career, and depending on where I was on my coupon journey (and regular life as well), was what I would use at any given time!
Tinkering with Coupon Storage:
- Binders
- These are great way to easily see your coupons by using baseball card sleeves and other sizes!
- Although a regular binder works well, a zippered binder safely holds your coupons (when zipped) if your binder should fall!
- Make sure to keep up with this method…one way I did it, was to quickly take out all of the expired coupons every week before I added in the newest ones from the weekend.
- Accordion Folders
- These are a great way to start and can usually be found in the dollar sections of several local stores.
- There are 2 sizes, one is smaller, and some coupons may need to be folded to fit, while the larger one can have all coupon sizes fit without any folding.
- I always keep at least one of these available at all times, because when I am trying to quickly sort (before putting in my binder or whatever method I am using at that time) my coupons, I can do a quick sort for use on the fly!
- Buckets
- This is a way to have your coupons sit easily in the grocery cart and have easy access to them.
- Some do this by type of products, and others choose to do this method in alphabetical order.
- Envelopes
- Using envelopes is a way to organize by keeping the coupons sorted by selected categories.
- This is also a great way to pull for a specific shopping trip/set of deals, if you don’t want to take in all of your coupons inside.
- Storage Bags
- When you use a storage bag, you can keep your coupons secure while shopping!
- ANYTHING!
- Use whatever will protect your coupons from scattering everywhere.
