There are so many deals that we see each week and while may be a good deal, you need to always check if Bigger is Better or if the smaller packages are the better deal!
I actually came across the other day! I was shopping at Dierbergs and I was looking at Dean’s Cottage Cheese products. They had the 16 oz. for $1.99 and the 24 oz. to $2.49. So, I was planning to buy the bigger package. Then, I noticed that the 8 oz. packages were on sale also for 2/99¢! WAIT! That means I could buy 3 at that size for less than what it would cost to get the 24 oz. package. WOW!
So, what did I do? I actually purchased 5 of the 8 oz. packages for under $2.50 (total of 40 oz.) instead of buying the 24 oz. package for around the same price!
Make sure to be reading your prices and sizes to make sure things truly ARE good deals…Bigger isn’t always Better!
